Poet, George Frederick Cameron, was born September 24, 1884, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. He died September September 17, 1885, in Millhaven, Ontario, and purportedly was buried in Cataraqui Cemetery two days later in Kingston, Ontario. The cemetery has no record of his burial.
Cataraqui Cemetery
This is George Fenwick’s grave. He died the same day as GFC and was buried two days later, as well, in Cataraqui Cemetery.
Union Lutheran Cemetery in Ernestown, Ontario.This cemetery is located not far from the house GFC died in. His in-laws are buried here and so too are the parents of his widow’s second husband. It appears that George Frederick Cameron is not buried here.
