Author, Margaret Marshall Saunders was born April 13, 1861, in Milton, Nova Scotia. She died February 15, 1947, in Toronto, Ontario, age 85. While she is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, the name of her sister-in-law is the only name on the grave marker.
