Poet, Robert Kirkland Kernighan, also known as “The Khan”, was born at Rushdale Farm in Rockton, Ontario, less than a kilometre from where he rests in St. Alban’s Church Cemetery, also in Rockton, Ontario. He was born either in 1854 or 1855 and died November 3, 1926.
