Man of many hats, John William Garvin was born March 19, 1859. He died August 14, 1935 in Paris, Ontario. He is buried in the Garvin Family plot in Midhurst Union Cemetery in Midhurst, Ontario.
He married author, Amelia (Katherine Hale) Beers Warnock, in 1912. After death they did part. She is buried in the Wurnock family plot in Cambridge, Ontario.
